REGISTRATION FOR SUNDAY August 16 IS NOW OPEN!
Update for August 16, 2020
We have FOUR options for you to participate in worship this Sunday, August 16!
- First, you can join in online, the service video will be available on gebible.org/online at 6am on Sunday.
- You can watch the online service together with your small group or by getting together with others.
- We will have TWO outdoor services at GEBC, one at 8:30am and one at 10:00am this Sunday. These services will take place in our parking lot and will be limited to 200 people each, so you must register ahead of time. You can do so by using the registration buttons. You will need to bring your own chairs to sit on and parking will be offsite.
This week we will offer a Sunday school program for kids during the sermon portion of our worship services, both at 8:30am and at 10:00am. Kids will walk to the East Lawn for a short activity and Bible lesson. Capacity is limited to 30 kids (4yrs - 5th grade) per service, and specific rules must be followed. Before registering your kids please read the information by Clicking Here.
*If your kids are doing the kids Sunday School you only need to register them for the Children's Ministry selection.
NOTE: We recommend using extreme caution when deciding when to return to in-person worship. We recognize that while GEBC may effectively follow all of the necessary guidelines put out by health officials, following those guidelines only reduces the risk of infection, it does not mean that our environment is considered “safe.” We know that we cannot completely eliminate the risks in coming together for worship and acknowledge that on some level, there have always been risks. We ask those who are sick, or have been in contact with people who have been sick to stay home. We also ask that those who fall into a category that makes them vulnerable to infection to worship at home as well.
If you have an aggressive posture towards either fully reopening immediately with no restrictions, or staying completely closed until there is a vaccine we ask that you either worship at home this week or fully restrain yourself and work to be at peace with those who don’t think like you do.
