GEBC Women’s Ministry exists to help women know God and his word, to foster an uplifting environment where deep relationships are formed, and to equip women to use their gifts to advance the gospel.  Together we will study God’s word, create opportunities for women to enjoy time together, share our stories with one another, and challenge one another to grow in Christ-likeness.  We invite you to join us throughout the year!

WBS fall 2020 procedures

We are:

  • Requiring registration for the fall studies ahead of time and limiting the number of participants to 50 women to ensure we can provide for social distancing in the building.
  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the building and furniture.
  • Spacing out chairs and reducing the size of small groups to allow for social distancing.
  • Providing hand sanitizer at every entrance, as well as throughout the facility.
  • Prepared for contact tracing efforts if there is a positive case of Covid.

What we are asking you to do to help us in this effort:

  • Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the building. This is required for everyone 3 years old and older.
  • Maintain social distance (6 feet) from those outside your immediate family. Please no handshaking, high-fives, fist-bumps, or hugs. Remember, while you might feel comfortable with this type of physical touch, others may not.
  • Stay in open and designated areas.
  • Before arriving at WBS assess yourself and self-certify that you are feeling healthy (temp below 99 degrees, no cough or other symptoms). If you are feeling sick, we ask that you skip that week’s session.
  • If you are immuno-comprised or fall into a higher risk category for contracting COVID-19 we ask that you join an online WBS group this fall.

Childcare Procedures:

Childcare will be following guidelines recommended by the IDPH to daycares which include health screening, masks for children ages 3 and older and all adults, and smaller class sizes which will not change rooms or teachers. If you have any questions about child care safety policies, please contact Janet Kurinsky (
