GEBC Women’s Ministry exists to help women know God and his word, to foster an uplifting environment where deep relationships are formed, and to equip women to use their gifts to advance the gospel.  Together we will study God’s word, create opportunities for women to enjoy time together, share our stories with one another, and challenge one another to grow in Christ-likeness.  We invite you to join us throughout the year!

Shower + Social

Saturday Nov. 17th – 9:30am

You’re invited to a Shower + Social on Saturday Nov. 17th at 9:30am, at the home of Karyn Byrne. The shower will benefit the ministry of Naomi’s House.

Naomi’s House is a residential home offering hope and healing to women who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation.  This shower will help meet some of the tangible needs of the women who live at Naomi’s House. Simone Halpin, Executive Director of Naomi’s House, will present on the issue of sex trafficking as well as what Naomi’s House is doing to help women who are coming out of this life.

Women’s Bible Study

Tuesdays September 18th – December 11th
9:30-11:15am (Childcare provided) OR 7-9pm

Join us this fall as we dive into The Quest by Beth Moore! In this excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best.  A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. The Bible does not shy away from such an invite. Over and over we see the people of God asking questions of their Creator. We also see the God of the universe asking questions of His creation.   Together we will learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him.  Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into closer relationship with the Father.
